Update on Tech Camp Unconference

As requested, here are some updates!

1. Thanks, Andrew, for the correct spelling. One of the panelists was Dan Klyn and his web site is http://www.danklyn.com. I believe the plan is to load all of the panelists' slides on the unconference wiki eventually.

2. Eli Neiburger's slides from his lightening round are now posted here.

3. The links I presented in my lightning round include:
Zamzar - convert files from pretty much any format to pretty much any other format. Good example is Office 2007 back to older version or music/movie files to format you already have a player for.

Wink - free tutorial software

Page Flakes - log into many of your accounts at once! Email, local weather, Facebook, Twitter, local news, etc.

Dropio - upload a file, no account required, and go to the link provided to get your file later. Great for library patrons who didn't bring something to save their files on or patrons with files too big to email (like huge PPT files). 100 MB permitted per drop, privacy settings available.

Google Lit Trips - download Lit Trips created by others or create your own using Google Earth. Follow/discuss/teach a book from a geographical perspective.

4. Deb - I found Kyle's lightning round about MEL extremely useful! Our librarians are HUUUUUGE fans and users of Mel, from MelCat to the databases and more!

Thanks, everyone, for your comments!
