This Thursday, I will be participating in mock interviews at the University of Michigan School of Information. Students can sign up to do a fake interview for a mock position: either Adult Services Librarian or Youth Services Librarian. I think this is a great service that U of M offers! It lets upcoming graduates practice interviewing with real interviewers. I will be asking the interview questions we really ask in our real interviews. I also get an opportunity to provide feedback to the interviewees about their answers, their demeanor, etc. I wonder if Wayne State's library school does these?
